Autumn is my favourite season anywhere; doubly so in the Highlands.
This time my destination is Glen Shiel, a region northwest of Fort William whose main claim to fame is a remarkably high concentration of Munros (mountains over 3,000 ft in height). I've never visited Glen Shiel before and so every route will be new to me. I've found that since moving away from Scotland I have been to several new places I never got round to visiting while I lived there: the Alder forest, Blair Atholl, and now Glen Shiel.
As always, I'll be posting updates on my Twitter and Instagram feeds when signal allows. The forecast is good (touch wood) so hopefully I'll take some decent photos!
